New England Air Scattering will provide this unique service to disperse cremated remains of loved ones over Southern New England, the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod, Long Island Sound, Block Island Sound, and Rhode Island Sound. Scattering over favorite land areas in the Northern New England States is beyond the standard rate, but is necessary because of the additional air miles involved. New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine are over and above the standard rate.
As stated in the Authorization Form, Scattering will occur as close as possible to the requested date, however weather and mechanical issues may necessitate a close proximate date. After scattering, the Authorized Person will receive an attractive commemorative Certificate of Scattering which will provide details such as time, date and location of dispersal.
